It's already Jan 8th and once again, the grand celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene is tomorrow. I'm already excited for this big event I will be joining millions of devotees and people from all over in giving homage and honor to the Lord tomorrow, whose image is celebrating the Traslacion. About 10-12 million are expected to attend the feast day tomorrow. Getting excited over here.
Yesterday Jan 7th, two days before the feast, one of the big activities leading to the feast day was held. There was a grand procession of hundreds of replicas of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo and was attended by thousands. Images of the Black Nazarene from all over join this celebration and this event turned Quezon blvd. into a sea of devotees, images and banners. According to a news report, just like the feast day itself, the attendance of this event gets bigger every year. I'll be sharing my pics in this post. Since there are a lot of pictures, I'll post the rest in a separate post.
